Yggdrasil deals with GVC Holdings’ Italian-facing gaming brands to integrate its video slots directly into the operator’s bwin.it and Gioco Digitale websites. Yggdrasil Gaming announced that it was going to enter the Italian market back in January.
Since Yggdrasil deals with GVC Holdings to enter the Italian market, Yggdrasil’s portfolio of award-winning HTML5 games will be offered in the country for the first time. Thanks to the deal the developer will continue to grow its business across Europe. What is more, as Yggdrasil deals with GVC Holdings, the developer will be able to expand its geographical reach next to an operator with great expertise in the region.
For the start, 11 games will be certified under Italian regulations and they are to go live early in the second quarter of 2017. bwin.it will go live with titles such as Dark Joker Rizes, Vikings Go Wild and Nirvana.
Apart from Yggdrasil’s content, GVC’s Italian operations will also get access to Yggdrasil’s collection of in-game promotional tools, BOOST™, such as the recently-launched Missions feature, together with the social sharing tool BRAG.
