Swedish mobile sports betting firm SpiffX and Cheza Gaming, Kenyan brand teamed up in order to leverage the booming mobile-based sports betting business in Kenya. Due to the fact that SpiffX and Cheza Gaming team up, SpiffX will be able to enter Kenyan market.
SpiffX’s co-founder and sales manager, Lennart Gillberg, said in a press statement this week that the deal with Cheza shows an opportunity to enter the Kenyan market.

SpiffX is focusing on a mobile-oriented sports betting market that could also include Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda.
Cheza Gaming is a regional Kenyan sports betting and gaming operator. The brand will launch SpiffX’s Take5live betting website locally in the upcoming months.
The list of sports gambling platforms which are now active in Kenya includes Betway and EliteBet, Betin, JustBet, Bet365, BetYetu, eazibet, Lucky2u, 256Bet, Royal Kenya Bets and go-bet.
Cheza’s services are now delivered on the Safaricom network by a third party. It allows customers to download and play games at a subscription fee of Sh10 per day, according to local media reports.
