International Game Technology – IGT launched apps for two popular lotteries: the Rhode Island Lottery and the Tennessee Lottery Corporation.

IGT launched apps individually matching them to the needs of two lotteries. The apps bring players the access to real-time lottery information including jackpot details, winning numbers, lottery retailer locations and instant information about the games.

Both apps offer a Check My Ticket feature where players have the chance to scan both instant tickets and draw tickets with their mobile devices to se if they have won.

The apps are available for free and can be downloaded at Apple’s App Store for iOS devices and the Google Play Store for Android.

Michael Chambrello, chief executive of North America lottery for IGT:

“As consumers’ reliance on their mobile devices continues to grow, so does IGT’s commitment to innovation in the mobile space.

“The Rhode Island Lottery and the Tennessee Lottery Corporation are long-time IGT customers, and we are confident that their evolution in the mobile space with these convenience apps will help them maximise income for their states and enhance funding for good causes.”

The new mobile player convenience applications for the Rhode Island Lottery and the Tennessee Lottery Corporation have been developed by Global Solutions Corporation subsidiary, formerly known as GTECH.
