Online gaming software provider Playtech joined the Gambling Business Group (GBG) – a new organisation focused on online gambling.
A two month old organisation, the GBG aims to improve the gambling business for its members, deal with governemt issues, help organise the political agenda and protect the future of industry and their employees.
Since July the GBG has already attracted more than 50 companies. The organisation is operated on the base of subscription and its members are rated according to the annual turnover.
According to Peter Hannibal, chief executive officer of the GBG the fact that Playtech signed up to the GBG shows the impotrant role fulfilled by the new organisation.
